Florida man may focus on criminal defense after murder charge

Moving through the criminal court system is not always an easy feat. Many individuals who are facing charges may feel as if they are walking into their court appearances without fully knowing what to expect. As a result, they may not know where to begin when it comes to creating their criminal defense presentations. Fortunately, there are steps individuals could take to feel more in control.

One man in Florida may be hoping to find his most viable options after recently being taken into custody. Reports stated that the man had called emergency services after his fiancee was purportedly shot. When officers arrived, the man allegedly stated that he had been cleaning the gun when it went off. However, he also stated that he and his fiancee were arguing and that she was threatening him and trying to get the gun. The man later reportedly stated he was lying.

Rather than the gun going off accidentally, the man allegedly took the gun and shot the woman during their argument. The woman died as a result of the gunshot wound. As a result of the purported incident, the man was arrested and is currently facing a charge for murder.

The man's criminal defense will undoubtedly play a crucial role in the man's case. Therefore, the man may find information on his defense options useful as he works to create a meaningful presentation. If he would like assistance in this endeavor, he may find consulting with an experienced Florida attorney beneficial to his case.
