Florida man likely to explore criminal defense options

One man in Florida is facing a serious legal predicament after being accused of burying his boss in dirt. Apparently, the 32-year-old man and his 57-year-old boss had gotten into a confrontation at the beginning of the work day, which reportedly escalated. As a result, the man may soon be determining how he may want to approach creating and presenting his criminal defense.

The situation reportedly began around 7:20 a.m. when the two individuals were arguing. A person who purportedly witnessed the event stated that the man used on-site construction equipment to dump dirt on his boss and pin him down. The man then allegedly got more dirt to pour on top of his boss, which resulted in the second man's body being approximately half covered. The man then purportedly used an aluminum level to hit his boss in the head.

Another individual on the scene called emergency services. When authorities arrived on the scene, the man stated that his boss had initiated the confrontation and threatened the man. The man continued on to say that he then accidentally dumped a load of dirt on his boss after bumping a control lever. Nonetheless, the man was taken into custody and is currently facing charges for aggravated battery. He was released after posting bond.

As the man believes that he was the victim in this confrontation, it is likely that he will want to combat the charges brought against him. Information on various legal strategies for creating and presenting a criminal defense may help him determine how he would like to go about doing so. An experienced Florida attorney may be able to provide valuable knowledge on the options that could prove most useful to the man's case.
