Criminal defense may be option for Florida man facing charges

Serious charges were recently leveled against a man in Florida after information regarding an alleged shooting came to light. The charges he faces include attempted murder and another allegation. Due to the severity of the charges, the man may wish to explore the possibility of creating and presenting a criminal defense.

An investigation into the situation began after authorities apparently became aware of a 19-year-old man who had been shot in the leg. The man originally stated that he had been walking home when a vehicle pulled up beside him and the occupants began to shoot at him. However, it was apparently later discovered that he had purportedly been in another vehicle at the time of the shooting.

The 19-year-old was reportedly in a vehicle with another individual who was allegedly trying to make a drug deal by passing off lawn clippings as marijuana. After the drugs were discovered to have been fake, a 24-year-old man in the buyer's vehicle began shooting, which led to the teen being shot in the leg. As a result, the older man was taken into custody and is facing charges for second-degree attempted murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle.

In order to handle his case in a meaningful manner, the man accused of the serious allegations may wish to gain as much information as possible pertaining to his predicament. Having this knowledge will help him make better informed decisions and determine whether creating and presenting a criminal defense could be right for him. Consulting with an experienced criminal defense attorney about the charges as well as what to expect with the Florida criminal proceedings would be a wise first course of action.
