Florida officer claims sex crimes connected to McNuggets meal

Many people in Florida and elsewhere have been accused in the past of agreeing to sexual favors in exchange for money, drugs or other forms of compensation. One woman, age 22, is facing trouble with the law after a police officer accused her of sex crimes. It's not the first time the woman has faced criminal charges in court.

In fact, the last time she was charged with a crime, she wound up pleading guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and grand theft. There are various reasons defendants sometimes enter guilty pleas; most times, such pleas are entered alongside guidance from experienced criminal defense attorneys. The woman in this situation was serving a probation after her last go-around with the law when new charges were filed against her.

She apparently got into an undercover police officer's car after exiting a gas station. The officer claims the two discussed certain sexual favors that the woman agreed to perform in exchange for money and food. More specifically, the officer says the woman agreed to a sexual encounter if he were to pay her $25 and buy her chicken nuggets from a local restaurant.

Since only the woman and the officer were in the vehicle at the time, it's her word against his. What happened next led to her arrest. The officer reportedly showed her some money then pulled his car over to an area where other law enforcement officers were waiting to arrest the woman. An experienced Florida attorney would know how to build a strong defense against these types of sex crimes charges. Defendants who seek support from skilled attorneys typically increase their chances of obtaining positive outcomes in court.
