Type of criminal defense presented may affect case outcome

One can only imagine what it would be like to be enjoying an evening in town with a loved one or friends only to have police storm through the door, instructing all patrons to pay their tabs and exit the premises. Needless to say, this would be quite an alarming way to wind down a social occasion. While it may not happen everyday in an average mom and pop local restaurant, it appears to be a rather common occurrence in a particular Florida strip club; in fact, a recent incident occurred that left several in need of criminal defense assistance.

Three women were arrested and charged with various crimes. Two now face drug charges and another has been accused of soliciting prostitution outside the club. One of the women is said to have sold drugs to undercover law enforcement agents on at least four separate occasions since January.

Five other people wound up being cited for possession of drugs as well. It was just after 8 p.m. when officers raided the establishment and instructed all workers to gather in a particular area and all dancers in another. It was at that time they also told customers to pay up and get out.

The type of criminal defense presented in court often affects the outcome of Florida incidents pertaining to prostitution, drugs or other criminal matters. An aggressive defense attorney knows what evidence can be challenged and how to maximize available options to secure the best possible outcome in court. Anyone currently facing such charges in this state can request a meeting with an experienced defense lawyer.
