Father of missing woman suspects man sentenced for heroin crime

A young woman has been missing in Florida since Aug. 2016. Recently, several people were sentenced with regard to heroin crimes in the area. One of those men was arrested at a residence the missing woman's father said she used to visit frequently. The father believes that the gang members recently sentenced might have information regarding his daughter's whereabouts.

It just so happens that the last person seen with the man's daughter is the father of one of the recently sentenced men who, along with the others, is said to belong to a violent street gang known as Oviedo Soldiers. He was originally a person of interest in her disappearance but is no longer thought so. The gang members are reportedly heading for federal prison after being convicted for drug trafficking. Although three men and a woman have already been sentenced, another man still awaits his sentencing hearing.

Some say the two cases appear to be somehow intertwined. The woman's father has offered a $5,000 reward to anyone providing information that helps him find his daughter. Those sentenced for heroin trafficking have not been charged with any crime related to the woman's disappearance at this time.

Even so, they will be living behind the bars of a federal prison for their participation in illicit drug activity involving heroin and cocaine. In the past, many clients have been able to avoid similar outcomes in court by retaining aggressive defense assistance from a highly experienced criminal lawyer. Hiring an attorney who has battled against serious drug charges at the federal law may be the best choice for someone facing similar charges in Florida.
