Man convicted of sex crime in Florida in need of criminal defense

There have been situations in Florida where persons convicted of crimes have been able to avoid incarceration. Often, such outcomes are obtained through skilled and aggressive criminal defense. One man who was previously convicted of a sex crime appears to be in trouble again.

The 52-year-old man is currently behind bars; although, he never spent a single day in jail for a previous incident where he was convicted of committing a sex crime against a minor. At that time, he was sentenced to six years of probation. Recently, he was put in jail after being accused of battery and attempted kidnapping.

Reportedly, the man began a relationship with an 18-year-old girl and her 16-year-old friend. As the older girl tells the story, the man told them he was a nightclub owner and  they could earn money working in his club. They accepted a ride they thought was delivering them to the club, but that took them to the man's house instead.

The girls supposedly stayed with the man, often accompanying him on shopping trips in exchange for new clothes and other things he'd buy for them. At some point, he is said to have requested sexual favors from the girls while they were riding in his car. Both girls tried to exit the car, but the man apparently grabbed the 16-year-old and pulled her back in. The incident led to him facing new charges in Florida. As in any criminal case, he will be given the opportunity to present as strong a criminal defense as possible before the court rules on the matter.
