Florida woman charged for alleged sex crimes involving young boy

One Florida woman is likely hoping to find the right criminal defense options for herself after recently being charged. Reports stated that the allegations relate to sex crimes purportedly carried out against an 11-year-old boy. The 21-year-old woman was reported as being a karate teacher, and the boy was apparently one of her students.

The allegations reportedly occurred after the boy's mother allegedly found messages on the boy's phone from the woman. The woman also purportedly sent the boy nude photos of herself and allegedly stated that she wanted to have intercourse with him. It was also reported that the woman touched the boy's thigh when they were alone, but she removed her hand when the boy told her to stop.

Reports stated that the most recent exchange between the woman and boy was carried out through a messaging app. The woman allegedly stated that she wanted the boy to come over for her birthday and that she wanted to have sex with him. The boy's mother contacted the authorities, and as a result, the woman is facing charges of attempted lewd conduct, child abuse, showing obscene material to a minor and one other allegation.

The Florida woman may not be fully prepared to face the allegations that have been brought against her for the alleged sex crimes. Therefore, she may wish to find out more information on her criminal defense options in order to create and present a defense with which she feels most comfortable. She may also wish to review her options and assess her case further with her legal counsel in order to better understand her predicament.
