Florida man facing drug charges may want legal information

Taking the first steps toward creating a meaningful criminal defense may be confusing for many individuals. If a party is facing drug charges or other allegations, he or she may want to first learn more about the charges themselves and then determine the best possible avenues for combating those allegations. If there are concerns about how to take such steps, assistance is available.

One man in Florida may be working to find out which legal options he feels most comfortable with after recently being taken into custody. Reports stated that authorities were purportedly contacted by an individual who had apparently noticed a marijuana odor in the area. When police arrived in the area, they reportedly found the man inside a truck, and the marijuana odor was also allegedly coming from the truck.

The officers performed a search of the truck and allegedly found drug paraphernalia that they believe was intended for methamphetamine production. The items were reportedly found in a bag and included a cold pack, glass jars containing solvents, pseudoephedrine pills and other items. The man chose not to speak with officers about the contents of the bag, and he was taken into custody on charges of methamphetamine manufacturing and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dealing with serious drug charges can be a complicated task to accomplish. When presented with such an endeavor, individuals may wish to enlist the help of knowledgeable professionals. Therefore, the man accused in this case may wish to consult with an experienced Florida defense attorney who may be able to provide valuable information for creating and presenting a criminal defense.
