Criminal defense: Woman arrested in Florida may seek assistance

When it comes to defending against criminal charges, there are often various routes to be considered. Therefore, individuals who are facing such a situation will likely want to determine which criminal defense options may be best suited for their particular cases. Assessing the circumstances of their arrests and other pertinent information could help them during the decision making process.

One woman may be considering such action after recently being arrested in Florida. Reports stated that the woman was at a hotel pool and allegedly became angry after a 7-year-old boy splashed her with water. The woman then purportedly poured vodka on the boy's face and in his eyes before pushing him into the pool. The woman was reportedly intoxicated at the time of the incident.

It is unclear who may have alerted police to the incident, but officers apparently arrived at the scene to take the woman into custody. The woman purportedly kicked an officer as he was attempting to make the arrest. The woman has been charged with child abuse and battery on a law enforcement officer as a result of the incident.

The woman's mind may be reeling as she considers how to address the allegations levied against her. If she wishes to seek assistance with this effort, consulting with an experienced Florida attorney may be worth her consideration. This assistance could allow her to gain information on state court proceedings relating to her case and what decisions may lay in front of her regarding her criminal defense and other legal aspects.
