Cocaine possession charge filed against Florida man

Facing charges for drug possession can be a complex situation to handle. Many individuals may not have the necessary legal knowledge to effectively address such a predicament. Those who have been accused of cocaine or another type of drug possession may wish to consider their options for seeking legal assistance in order to navigate the criminal court proceedings.

One man in Florida may be hoping to find such assistance after recently being taken into custody. Reports stated that authorities had stopped the man's pickup truck due to a brake light problem. While talking with the officers, the man reportedly gestured with his arm that was covered in a cast, and what appeared to be a crack cocaine rock fell out of the cast. Authorities tested the substance, and it allegedly tested positive.

The man purportedly stated that he thought he had gotten rid of all the cocaine when he first noticed the officers. As a result, the man was taken into custody on a cocaine possession charge. It was unclear whether any initial court appearances had been set at the time of the report.

Some individuals may face circumstances similar to the one this man is currently facing. However, there are options that could help the man and others contending with such legal predicaments. Information on the cocaine possession charge brought against the man may allow him to better understand the allegation and what consequences could potentially result if he is convicted. He may also wish to consult with an experienced Florida attorney in order to find out more about the criminal court process ahead of him.
