Assault, drug charges leveled against Florida man

Many individuals make mistakes throughout their lives that could cause them to face serious predicaments. In some of those cases, individuals may face criminal charges due to the circumstances surrounding the incidents. Those accusations can range from drug charges to other serious allegations, and parties may hope to find the most effective ways to handle their cases moving forward.

One man in Florida may be assessing his situation in order to make the best decisions for himself. According to reports, the man was recently taken into custody after an alleged incident with his girlfriend. Apparently, the couple had an argument, and at some point, the woman got into a vehicle. The man then purportedly hit the top of the vehicle with a machete. Authorities arrived at the scene, but it was unclear who alerted them to the reported occurrence.

Authorities searched the man and allegedly found baggies that they believed contained methamphetamine and marijuana. They also purportedly found drug paraphernalia, including a glass pipe and needles. As a result, the man is currently facing charges for possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, as well as aggravated assault.

In order to approach his legal case in a knowledgeable manner, the man may wish to gather information pertaining to the assault and drug charges leveled against him. These allegations could result in serious consequences if he is convicted, and he will likely want to work toward an outcome he finds agreeable. Discussing his case with an experienced Florida attorney may help him determine which legal route may be worth following in connection to his case.
