Charges for heroin, other drugs filed against couple in Florida

The need for information regarding legal proceedings may come about unexpectedly. For two individuals in Florida, that need may be upon them as they were recently taken into custody on charges relating to heroin possession and other allegations. Luckily, there are resources available to offer valuable insight into the specifics of each individual case and avenues for working toward preferred outcomes.

Reports stated that the man and woman were located in a hotel room after authorities allegedly obtained a warrant to search the room. It was unclear what caused authorities to suspect that any suspicious activity was taking place in the room. Nonetheless, they searched the room and purportedly found the man, woman and two children inside along with cocaine, heroin, marijuana and prescription drugs.

As a result of the search, the two individuals are facing charges. The man was reported as being 42 years old, and he currently faces allegations of possession with intent to sell cocaine and heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and child neglect. The woman was reported as being 29 years old, and she is currently facing charges for possession of a controlled substance and child neglect.

Due to the allegations brought against them, the man and woman will likely want to find out more information on what the charges could mean. Each individual may do well to gain more knowledge on the charges as well as Florida criminal proceedings relating to those allegations. Charges for heroin, cocaine and controlled substances could have serious consequences if convictions take place, and therefore, each accused individual may wish to follow the legal avenues that may best suit his or her individual case.
